Boy Scout Ranks

Boy Scouts receive new badges as they learn new skills and try new things.  Boy Scout ranks are awarded as the Scout learns new skills.  There are 6 Boy Scout ranks available: Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, and Eagle.  You must be of a certain age to acheive each one of these Boy Scout ranks, and must have met all of the requirements for each rank.  Boy Scout ranks are earned through hard work, perseverance, and patience, and very few Scouts receive all 6 Boy Scout badges.  Boy Scouting allows kids to develop practical skills as they form lasting friendships.
